How do I know which DTF film width to order?

Check the maximum media width supported by your printer and the usable width of your powder-shaker system. The nominal roll width must fit both parts of the production line.

Can I use Color Prime Chroma ink in any DTF printer?

No. The CMYKRGOB system requires compatible ink channels, RIP support and an appropriate color profile. Contact Kolormatrix before changing from another ink system or chemistry.

Can I mix DTF ink brands?

Mixing ink systems is not recommended. Different formulations may react unpredictably or create flow and printhead problems. A proper conversion and flushing procedure may be necessary when changing inks.

What affects the finished feel of a DTF transfer?

Artwork coverage, white-ink density, powder application, curing, transfer size and heat-press settings all affect the hand of the finished print. Film is important, but it is only one part of the complete process.

Does instant-peel film eliminate the need to test press settings?

No. Time, temperature and pressure still need to be tested for your heat press, garment and transfer system. Follow the product instructions and verify performance before beginning production.

Can better supplies correct a printer or environmental problem?
