Need a professional heat press for a short-term project without purchasing another piece of equipment? Kolormatrix offers local heat press rental in Atlanta for qualified customers working on DTF transfers, heat transfer vinyl and other heat-applied decoration projects.
Our rental program is a practical solution for special events, temporary production demands, equipment downtime, pop-up shops and short-run orders. Rental equipment is available by advance reservation and must be picked up from and returned to our Atlanta-area location.

One-Day and Weekend Rental Options
One-day and weekend rental periods may be available. Daily rentals are generally returned by the same time on the following business day. Approved weekend rentals may be picked up Friday and returned Monday during normal business hours.
Availability is limited, so advance reservations are strongly recommended. Current rental pricing, availability and terms are shown on the individual equipment page.
What Is Included?
This is an equipment-only rental. Staffing, production labor, delivery, installation and on-site operation are not included. Customers are responsible for transporting, loading, unloading and safely operating the equipment.
Need transfers for your project? Kolormatrix can also produce custom DTF transfers. We recommend ordering transfers before your rental date so everything is ready when you pick up the press.
Before You Reserve
Heat press rentals are subject to approval and may require:
- A valid government-issued photo ID
- A signed rental agreement
- A valid credit card
- A replacement-value deposit or card authorization
- A suitable vehicle for safe transportation
- Two adults for safe loading and unloading
- Inspection of the press at pickup and return
Customers should already understand basic heat press safety and operation. If you have never operated a heat press, contact Kolormatrix before reserving so we can discuss training or supervised in-studio options.
Heat Press Rental FAQ
Where is the rental equipment located?
Equipment is available for local pickup from Kolormatrix in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Rental equipment cannot be shipped.
Do you deliver or pick up the heat press?
No. Customers are responsible for pickup, transportation and return. A safe vehicle and two adults are required for loading and unloading.
Can I rent the press for one day?
Yes, one-day rentals may be available by reservation. The press must normally be returned by the agreed time on the following business day.
Is a weekend rental available?
Weekend rentals may be available with approved Friday pickup and Monday return during normal business hours.
What can I apply with the rental heat press?
The press can be used for many properly tested DTF transfers and heat transfer vinyl applications. Always follow the transfer or material manufacturer’s recommended time, temperature, pressure and finishing instructions.
What is the largest design I can press?
The current rental press has a 14" × 16" platen. Your complete design must fit within the usable pressing area with enough room for safe positioning.
Are DTF transfers included with the rental?
No. The rental includes the heat press only. Custom DTF transfers may be ordered separately from Kolormatrix.
Can someone from Kolormatrix operate the press for me?
Standard rentals do not include an operator, setup or production labor. Contact us if you need training, supervised studio access or contract DTF application services.
Do I need previous heat press experience?
Renters should understand basic heat press operation and safety. Customers without experience should contact us before reserving to discuss a more appropriate training or supervised-use option.
Is a security deposit required?
A replacement-value deposit or credit-card authorization is required. Current deposit requirements and complete rental terms are provided on the equipment page and rental agreement.
How do I reserve the press?
