Students train on professional equipment, including the Vastex V2000 manual press, and work through the printing process themselves. This is not three days of classroom lectures or demonstrations.

VIP private training provides concentrated instruction built around your experience, equipment plans and production goals. Instead of sharing press time with a full class, private students receive substantially more individual coaching and hands-on repetition.
Depending on the number of students, VIP participants can receive four times or more hands-on equipment time than they might receive in a conventional group class. A student attending alone can receive even more focused practice and direct instruction.

Brian Toney has spent more than three decades working with screen printing equipment, inks, production processes, technical sales and hands-on education. He has helped printers at nearly every skill level—from people preparing to open their first shop to experienced production teams working to improve consistency and efficiency.
Brian teaches the reasons behind the process. Instead of giving students a list of settings to memorize, he explains how artwork, screens, mesh, ink, pressure, temperature, time and equipment work together. That understanding helps students make better production decisions after they return home.
Printers have traveled to Kolormatrix from across the United States and internationally to train with Brian. They come to Atlanta because they want practical knowledge they can use in a real shop—not theory that disappears as soon as the class is over.
