Only 3 Seats Left: August 19–21 Professional Screen Printing Class in Atlanta

If you have been thinking about taking your screen printing skills to the next level, now is the time.

Our upcoming 3 Day Professional Screen Printing Class in Atlanta is scheduled for August 19–21, and we only have 3 seats left.

We intentionally keep this class small so every student gets hands-on time, personal instruction, and their own workstation on the press. This is not a class where you stand in the back of a room watching someone else print.

At KolorMatrix, every student works through the process.

You learn by doing.

Why We Limit Class Size

Screen printing is a hands-on craft.

You can watch videos, read articles, and study techniques, but there is no substitute for standing at the press, pulling a squeegee, checking registration, adjusting pressure, learning ink behavior, and seeing how small production details affect the final print.

That is why we limit the number of students in our 3 Day Professional Screen Printing Class.

Each student has their own workstation on the press, which allows them to build real confidence instead of simply watching someone else do the work.

Smaller class size also means more direct access to the instructor, more time for questions, and more opportunity to correct technique as you learn.

This Is Not a Basic Screen Printing Class

Many screen printing classes teach the basics:

  • Coat a screen

  • Expose a screen

  • Register artwork

  • Print one color

  • Flash between every color

Those are important skills, but they are only the beginning.

At KolorMatrix, our 3 Day Professional Screen Printing Class is designed to go deeper.

We teach real production methods that help printers understand how professional shops improve quality, speed, and consistency.

Students learn techniques that many new printers believe are out of reach, including:

  • Wet-on-wet printing

  • 60 LPI simulated process printing

  • Four color process printing

  • Production workflow

  • Registration control

  • Ink handling

  • Troubleshooting

  • Print quality improvement

This class was built to help printers move beyond trial and error.

Learn From Real Production Experience

The class is taught by Brian Toney, Co-Owner and Lead Instructor at KolorMatrix.

Brian brings more than 38 years of printing industry experience, including technical sales, production support, consulting, troubleshooting, screen printing education, and workflow improvement.

This class is not based on theory alone.

It is based on real-world printing experience, real production challenges, and the practical knowledge printers need to improve their results.

The goal is not just to show students what to do.

The goal is to help students understand why it works.

Who This Class Is For

This class is a good fit for:

  • New screen printers who want to start correctly

  • Self-taught printers who want to improve technique

  • Growing shops ready to move beyond basic printing

  • DTF shops wanting to understand or add screen printing

  • Print shop owners who need better workflow

  • Employees who need structured hands-on training

  • Printers who want to reduce mistakes and improve consistency

You do not have to be an expert before attending.

In fact, many students come to class with very little experience. Over the years, about half of the students in our professional classes have started with little to no printing background.

That is one of the reasons the class is structured carefully.

We want students to build confidence step by step.

What Makes This Class Different

The difference is the combination of hands-on learning, small class size, real production methods, and technical instruction.

You are not just watching a demonstration.

You are learning the process by working through it.

You will see how proper setup affects the final print. You will understand why screen tension, mesh selection, off-contact, squeegee angle, ink deposit, flash timing, and production rhythm all matter.

You will also learn why flashing between every color may be simple, but it is often slow and inefficient for production.

Professional screen printing requires more than getting ink onto a shirt.

It requires control.

That is what this class is designed to teach.

Why Screen Printing Still Matters

DTF has changed the apparel decoration industry, and it has created incredible opportunities for small businesses and growing shops.

But screen printing is still one of the most valuable production methods in the industry.

For many applications, screen printing continues to offer advantages in:

  • Larger production runs

  • Specialty inks

  • Athletic and team printing

  • High-volume orders

  • Durable prints

  • Certain fabric types

  • Lower cost per print at volume

For shops that understand both DTF and screen printing, the opportunity is even stronger.

The future is not always about choosing one method over the other.

It is about knowing which process fits the job.

That is why education matters.

Hands-On Training Builds Confidence

One of the biggest problems many printers face is uncertainty.

They are not sure if the problem is the ink, the mesh, the screen, the exposure, the squeegee, the flash, the press setup, or their technique.

That uncertainty leads to wasted time, wasted shirts, wasted money, and frustration.

Hands-on training helps connect the pieces.

When students understand the full process, they become better problem solvers. They can look at a print issue and begin identifying what caused it instead of guessing.

That confidence is one of the most valuable things students take home from class.

Only 3 Seats Remain

Our August 19–21 class is almost full.

Because each student has their own workstation on the press, we cannot simply keep adding seats. The limited class size is part of what makes the training valuable.

If you have been waiting to register, this is the time.

Once these final seats are filled, the August class will be closed.
