Manufacturer Details
BigRed® 4D Series dryers are Vastex’s largest and most powerful dryers engineered for DTG digital inks, screen-printed plastisol, water-based inks, and discharge applications. They are designed for high-volume DTG shops, Kornit® production environments, and automatic screen printing operations requiring serious production capacity.
The BR4D-V30 model features a 30" wide belt and four 24" wide heaters with a total of 11,400 watts. According to Vastex, this model cures 72 garments per hour printed with DTG/digital white ink at 2.5 minutes dwell time, 216 garments per hour with water-based ink or discharge, and 475 garments per hour with plastisol ink.
BigRed 4D Series dryers are built to grow with your shop. Capacity can be doubled, tripled, or quadrupled by adding one, two, or three modular heating chambers and conveyor belt extensions as production needs increase.
A high-powered pre-heating zone helps drive ink temperatures past 300°F within the first several inches of conveyor travel. This helps maximize dwell time at proper curing temperatures, improving conveyor belt speeds and overall dryer output.
The airflow system uses make-up air, filtered intake, negative exhaust, and exhaust flow monitoring to help remove heat, moisture, fumes, and contaminants from the chamber. Filtered air intake helps reduce dust contamination, while filtered exhaust helps prevent garment lint from entering the blower or exhaust stack.
For shop flexibility, the 6" diameter exhaust outlet rotates 360 degrees for connection to ductwork, and the control box can be located on either the right or left side of the chamber.
Additional features include dual digital PID temperature controls accurate to +/-1°F, a light tower for monitoring dryer status, cool-down mode for easier shutdown, exhaust flow sensors with warning lights, and a 15-year heater warranty.
