Advantage is an Ultra-Premium Plastisol Ink that Glows in the dark (phosphorescent) and has been formulated to have a short body and extra creamy to be easy to print on a manual press or automatic.

When the ink is fully charged with UV light the glow is strong and may be applied to white or even dark shirts, although print flash print or an underbase is recommended on dark shirts.

Recommended Substrates
Cotton, cotton blends, polyesters, and some nylon (generally open weave or mesh types) as well as other synthetics.

Curing: Gel or flash-cure: Approximately 230 Degrees F

Full cure: 320 Degrees F

Fusion tests should be made prior to any production run. Failure to cure properly causes poor wash fastness, inferior adhesion and increased dye migration.

Tension: 15-20 acceptable, 25-35 recommended

Squeegee type: 60-80 durometer. Dual (70/90) or triple (70/90/70)

Squeegee blade: Sharp

Squeegee angle: 10 to 20 degrees

Squeegee Pressure: Avoid excess pressure

Squeegee speed: Medium to Fast

Wash-Up: ECO5000, ECO3000 or ECO4440 or any other plastisol ink degrader / on press wash.

Mesh: Use 60-110 mesh 

Stencil: CBX7700 or CBX7500 is recommended but will work with Any Conventional direct emulsion or capillary films. For a heavier deposit of ink, 2 coats inside and 2 coats outside will provide a thicker stencil and thicker ink deposit.

Inks manufactured for Kolormatrix are certified by one of the largest plastisol ink manufacturers in the world to be Phthalate Compliant and does not knowingly add plasticizers containing the phthalates listed and outlined in California Bill 1108, CPSIA HR-4040 and Oeko-tex Standard 100. The plasticizers identified may include di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP), benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP), diisononyl phthalate (DINP), diisodecyl phthalate (DIDP), di-n-octyl phthalate (DnOP), (DIBP) Di-iso-butyl, and (DMP) Dimethylphthalate, including esters of ortho-phthalic acid and are not direct ingredients in the manufacture of Claira High Opacity Non-Phthalate Inks.
